Our Practice Development Programme delivers exactly what it says on the tin - a systematic, tailor made development programme for professional practices. It assumes, of course, that you are interested in the development process. Development in this context includes satisfaction of your personal and business goals - why are you in practice?

It is an integrated and supported programme of development for sole traders and smaller partnerships.

This is not another "join the dots" box of tricks that you might buy with good intentions and never open the box?

The programme takes you through a stepped process:

  1. Identification of firm's marketing and development resources.
  2. A goal setting day with Bob Edwards
  3. Design and endorsement of implementation plan - integrating firm's resources with those available from Landmark. Created by Bob Edwards in consultation with sole practitioner/partner.
  4. Commence implementation
  5. Monthly review
  6. Flexing programme post review
  7. Re-commence implementation

The programme can be used to re-boot and invigorate a marketing and development function already established within a firm. It also offers ongoing, unconditional support to ensure implementation is effective.

PDP Network:

As there is a front-ended requirement for our MD, Bob Edwards, to be personally involved in steps 1 to 3 above, only 4 firms per month will be enrolled into the programme commencing 1 September 2010. To ensure a measure of exclusivity and to ring fence the benefits of this programme to exclude firm's immediate competitors, only 100 licences to this programme will be granted. We will also take steps to exclude firms that are geographically placed within 25 miles of an existing participating firm.

As the PDP network grows, any insights, wins, will be shared to maximise the benefits to the whole group. We are planning to invite the Network members to meet as a group from time to time, to share experiences and to benefit from experts in the marketing and practice development field who will be invited to speak.

It is intended that participation in our Practice Development Programme will provide a clear advantage to smaller practices that presently do not have the time to create and implement a suitable programme for themselves.

Interaction with other Landmark products:

The Practice Development Programme has been designed to utilise all of Landmark's products.

  1. Practice Development Tool Kit - - the programme particularly utilises the Business Fitness Assessment, Tax Planning Report generator and the Personal Financial Health Check. (This tool kit is included in the PDP programme at no extra cost.)
  2. Tax Options - a library of up to 20 specialist, tax planning products that include a technical schematic and easy to read marketing copy.
  3. Practice Gateway - an online shop for your practice that links with the first two products on this list to create qualified leads and additional work with your existing client base.
  4. Professional Practice SEO - this service uses an ingenious methodology to improve your practice web site rankings on Google and the other major search engines. Access to this service may be restricted as licences are limited to one firm per nominated post code block.

All of these products are designed to create qualified leads from your web site and from interactions with your existing client base.

Investment required:

Participating firms will need to resource a person to act as an Implementation Manager for the programme. The sole practitioner or nominated partner will also need to commit to the process, providing executive authority and time to review progress. Because we understand the difficulties faced by practitioners this "top ended" input will be kept to a minimum.

Landmark's fees:

The initial fee to cover Bob Edwards' time in attending the goal setting day and creating the tailored programme is £2,300 plus VAT.

The ongoing monthly cost to cover:

  • Access to the Landmark services set out below,
  • Bob Edwards' time in providing telephone support and
  • Oversight of the monthly review process

A combined fee of £230 plus VAT

Guarantee:

Your participation in the programme can be cancelled at a month's notice.

The initial fee is not payable to Landmark until the end of the goal setting day. If by 1pm on this day you are unhappy to proceed as a participating firm, you can withdraw and we will charge £500 plus any direct travel expenses to cover Bob Edwards' time. Initial fees, once paid, are non-refundable.
